Nancy O'Dell's professional career started in Myrtle Beach South Carolina as a news reporter and anchor at WPDE-TV. Then she became an anchor and morning reporter at WCBD TV. O'Dell's reporting on the lax police response in response to DUI cases in Charleston caused an investigation by State Law Enforcement Division, that led to a revised directive from state authorities regarding DUI cases. Ms. O'Dell won an award for the Best Report of the Award from the Associated Press for South Carolina's media. O'Dell, after her stint working in Charleston as a reporter, was a anchor at the NBC Miami WTVJ-TV station, before transferring into Access Hollywood where she is currently a co-anchor and correspondent during weekends. In addition to her current job as the lead anchor on Access Hollywood Ms. O'Dell is also a contributor to NBC News' Today and also contributes to Dateline NBC. She has covered major events like The Oscars, The Emmys, The Grammys, and The Golden Globe Awards. As well as co-hosting the Pre Show Arrivals in preparation for The Emmys & The Golden Globes. Co-hosted the Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants.
